Recruitment For the Post of Director

Applications are invited from highly qualified, dedicated and academically productive scholars or Educational Administrators with proven leadership qualities for appointment as Director, Distance Education.

Essential qualification

1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC seven point scale.

2. Ph.D in any discipline.

3. At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer (Senior Scale)/ Lecturer with 8 years in Reader’s grade along with experience in Educational Administration. (OR) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education (OR) 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Pay in the Pay Band Rs. 37400-67000 + GP Rs.10,000/-


Other Conditions

The appointment will be on contract/tenure for a period of two years extendable based on performance & requirements upto 5 years or till attaining the age of 62 years whichever is earlier.
